Elizabeth Koebele is an assistant professor in the Political Science department at the University of Nevada Reno. She earned her Ph.D. in Environmental Studies from the University of Colorado Boulder in 2017. She also holds B.A.s in English literature and secondary education from Arizona State University, and an M.S. in Environmental Studies from the University of Colorado Boulder. Her research and teaching interests include environmental policy and politics, collaborative governance, public policy theory, natural resource management, and qualitative/mixed-methods. She is particularly interested in how collaborative approaches to policymaking shape policy and environmental outcomes in situations of high political conflict and scientific uncertainty.
